One of my earliest passions in life was to become an integral part of our community through education. This drew me to a variety of different opportunities throughout my life, such as participating in Girl Scouts from K-12, tutoring, nannying, and eventually becoming a teacher. Throughout my 13-year career, it became increasingly clear that the direction of our world and that of education are diverging. Limestone Prep will provide what our community’s children need for academic success: individualized, hands-on learning. Children will have the freedom to strengthen their areas of interest through STEM-based projects and address learning  gaps with 1:1 teacher meetings. Students will also study soft skills to prepare them for a future of leadership and success. Our school will emphasize community in our physical space with our “co-working” environment, as well as our Community Building opening and closing each day. As Greater Lafayette’s first microschool, Limestone Prep is offering a totally new way to invest in your child’s education. Parents can be a part of the learning experience with a monthly invitation for children to present their growth and what sparks their passion for discovering the world!
